Channing Tatum as Cap

Recently news has hit the web that Channing Tatum (G.I. Joe, Fighting, Dear John) has been thrown in the mix of new actors being considered for the role of Captain America. At first i was angry. I thought his acting was lack luster in G.I. Joe and ugh to Step-Up, but the more I thought about it, it wouldn't actually be that bad.
He does some of his own stunts, like in G.I. Joe, he has done war scenes, and he does have that intensity when fighting (see below)

Not to mention he does have the look of Cap:

Also he's fit and he's not a big enough name to cost tons of dollars to use. My only doubt is with his acting. I haven't seen Dear John but according to reviews his acting is good.
Well I can honestly say if he becomes Cap i won't mind.

P.S. I love him as Pretty Boy Floyd in Public Enemies even thought it's onlylike 2 minutes long of a scene.

Captain America

More confusion has recently surfaced over the casting of Captain America.
Tuesday Fox 411 said that Krasinski was in the lead and being screen tested with multiple actersses to see how he'd work with them, however according to Heat Vision and Deadline New York, both of which say they received an update from Marvel, are saying Marvel is looking at Chris Evans(the fantastic 4 movies) Mike Vogel (Cloverfield) Wilson Bethel (The Young and The Restless) and Garret Hedlund(Tron Legacy).

Personally i kind of grew on the idea of Krasinski the more i tossed it around,he could actually pull it off if he tried hard enough, but it's probabaly for the best if he didn't get it. Out of these newcomers i think Hedlund looks the role(seen on link below)

or Mike Vogel

however I dont think Vogel has the range to be a superhero fighting during World War II and as for Hedlund i've never seen him act except in the Tron trailer(awesome by the way) so i don't know how he'd do. Also im not sure which story is the real deal, is Krasinski in the running or is marvel doing more reads, the internet is too full of unconfirmed sources so until it's official think of these only as rumors and not as fact.

Dispelling rumors

Their have been rumors flying around the internet lately that certain movies have been cast, such as Logan Lerman(Percy Jackson & The Olympians star)being cast as Spider-man and Captain America already having been cast by a number of different names. As much as I wish we could know who would be behind these masks their are currently no confirmed castings.

Comic Review: Batman: Hush

Hush

This is a Batman comic that has fans either loving it or hating it. Some think that the plot points are stupid and/or unnecessary or cliche. Others think that it is a fantastic, one of a kind thrill ride that pulls out all the stops. I am closer to agreeing with the latter, however I agree yet disagree with the former as well. I agree that some of the plot points are a tad cliche but it's done in such a fantastic and engaging way that I don't care. First off the comic is written by Jeph Loeb who has done work on nearly all the big named marvel heroes and who is a big fan favorite in the comic book world, and secondly the pencils are done by the masterful Jim Lee, who's worked on projects such as the illustrations for a few X-Men in 1989 and Superman: For Tomorrow. So already I am giving this comic points, now lets move on more towards the review.
The story centers around our main character Batman who is being heckled, harassed and sabotaged from the shadows by a bandage wrapped face man calling himself Hush. The story itself opens up on Killer Croc holding a boy captive and Batman attempting to rescue him, and from this single event a series of incidents unfold that will lead Bruce on an ever-growing trail of mystery, madness and deception helped along by a handful of notorious Batman villains including Joker, Catwoman, Harley Quinn, Killer Croc even a phenomenal crossover with Superman, all ending in a spectacular climax and an appearance by a face not seen in years.
Overall I find this comic incredible and a must for the Batman lover. It has a great story that really has the old school Batman feel of a detective mystery with really intricate plot points and mind bending twists. The villains are more maniacal than ever, some featuring new enhancements to their powers even, and the feeling when the pieces come together is explosive. Not to mention the interactions between Batman and Superman are, in my opinion, some of the best action sequences in comics. That capped with the incredible penciling of Jim Lee(I feel this is his best by the way) and color of Alex Sinclair make this a fantastic must read.

Batman: Hush
A comic I don't think should be kept "under wraps"
Thanks for reading :)
